Nvidia to acquire British ARM

BBC says the Japanese firm that owned the ARM tech is selling to US chip manufacturer Nvidia
is that technology still under patent? Does Nvidia a US firm, really manufacture the chips? If actually manufactured in China, does this make any difference?

He might try. However, nVidia is a fabless chip company, with no idea how to manufacture its own chips. This might make moving production a tad problematic.
