As I suspected it is a generic based on model by Growatt and the pc software for it is called shinebus , there are also opens source version of it to modify the settings. It actually states in the installer manual that pc software required for advance settings and only a few functions can be controlled by the display.
Deye adapters/protocol also works on these units as I found with mine recently (a growatt 3000 branded as sunnyTech) just dont use the managed adapter it will auto lock your inverter down and auto link it with the deye server and it's a pain to hack the pin out of.
as mentioned by H.O any waveshare rs485 adapter will work with either brand of chip, for adding wifi then easy way is a deye/sunnytech/growatt wifi adapter that plugs into the internal uart port but offical adapters tend to only want to work on their servers so most people get a CYD (cheap yellow display) and the 4p small to 4p medium connector , but check the pins with a multi meter before using, i have seen some uart adapters wired gnd,5v+,tx,rx and others gnd,tx,rx,5v+
software for CYD varies, theres H.A code under esp32HA or HomeBuilder for connecting to H.A or there's individual code projects just for control either via esp32 wifi +web or from a 3.5" lcd screen.
If you have any shots of the units internals that would be grand, often there is indications as to which actual maker built it under which oem chain. as well as that we can also spot hidden uart's, customer lockouts (feedom won systems need a pin code to keep clients out, pylontech need a wire shorted on a hidden connector to boot in engineer mode)
