Sharp Memory LCD
« on: July 27, 2015, 01:34:47 pm »
Hi,

I'm planning to use a Sharp Memory LCD in my next hobby project  :) I would like to use the LS013B7DH01 1.26" (the same display as in the original Pebble watch I think). But it uses a zebra strip connection. Does anyone have experience with this display, or know where to get zebra strips?

My other option is to use the LS013B7DH03 1.28", with an flat flex connector, but it has lower resolution...

Any help is appreciated  :D

Hi ingep

If it's a hobby project, I wouldn't recommend LS013B7DH01 because it is difficult to get a zebra connector and soldering might be challenging.

I used the LS013B7DH03 with this breakout (https://www.tindie.com/products/kuzyatech/sharp-memory-lcd-breakout-a2/) and developed the driver code using a STM32F411-Nucleo board.
