TLE2426 alternative
« on: July 23, 2015, 06:02:30 pm »
Hi everybody,

I have been using the TLE2426 in most of my projects since its a fairly handy component. (railsplitter in TO-92 housing) but my stock is running low and I was wondering if there maybe were other railsplitters that are a decent alternative (read: cheaper and also do their job)

For the moment my projects are small, so handling huge currents is not something i demand from the component. I tried to find an alternative but I can't find any! I can't imagine Texas Instruments being the only company making railsplitters?

(and as a bonus question: Just how does one find alternatives to chips? Does somebody know a like a "synonym.com" for electric components?)

I don't think there is an alternative, which is why the price is so high.  Most designs seem to use a resistive divider, either plain or buffered with an op amp.
