You don't think kids have always learned about the world around them through play? I didn't watch the video I have a vague recollection that guy is simply performing for YT views.

I personally think the power/torque of an electric motor is far more ideally suited to city driving than an ICE.

I don't understand the issue? When I was a kid, I played with toy cars, lego sets etc... We even had a facility near where I lived which had "roads" with actual functioning traffic lights, designed for kids to ride their bikes and start understanding basic road rules. Not this exact venue, but you get the gist: https://www.parraparents.com.au/parks-playgrounds/dinky-tracks-scooter-bike-tracks-parramatta-region/

This is stupid, it's a toy car charger.
It's no more harmful than a toy plastic cash register, lawn mower, cellphone or musical instrument.

Toy guns are probably more of a worry, and no one cares about those.

IMHO this toy car charger should have a real solar panel and battery and 12V and 24V output so kids and their parents could actually charge up those little toy electric cars when at the park.  :-DD

Is the toy kitchen indoctrination too? How about the toy supermarket? Is the sandpit brainwashing our children into a career in mining? Are those plastic dinosaurs an anti-evolutionary plot?

What a massive shithead.

I'm not a EV fan, but in America's Oklahoma, children are learning to lick peanut butter from each others' toes.  Which is worse?  Indoctrination in what is likely a stopgap technology or kinky practices?

I think the appropriate aussie term would/should be applied to him "Wan..."

not sure what the forum tolerance to colourful adjectives is

You mean to say the OP is named Wayne Kerr? I agree LMAO

AnyWho, I guess the deluded dude in the video does not know that local parks are not the Australian Government. They are Local Council, or even the local community. Seems old mate just wants to rage at things for PooTube shill dollars. And to quote Pauleen from One Racist, if you dont like our playgrounds, go back to your own country. Bhahahahaha

This YouTuber needs a better hobby.  All this hate for something he doesn't even know about might risk an aneurysm.

This YouTuber needs a better hobby.

There is an audience for everything. He seems to be doing well enough with the anti-EV shtick.

Please stop, you are going to remind the ecofascists, that toys are made from plastic. They will probably calculate that we use the equivalent of 4 times the weight of the moon each year on plastic toys (calculation made by a 9 year old boy, like the plastic straws) and ban them.

Is he for real? he almost looks like a spoof of the older middle aged that cannot get over the same sort of change their tried to argue with their parents about.
