Does anyone recognize this module?
« on: December 30, 2025, 03:16:56 am »
HELLO!  While repairing a power board, I came across this component with only a silk screen marking. I couldn't find detailed documentation, manufacturer information, or the pinout definition.

Looks like 5V to 12V isolated DC/DC converter. Traces going to it are somewhat suspicious though, so cannot say that with 100% certainty. Similar to this one with the same package and pin count (last page) https://asset.conrad.com/media10/add/160267/c1/-/en/001086501DS00/datasheet-1086501-tracopower-tmr-6-0512-dcdc-converter-print-5-v-dc-12-v-dc-500-ma-6-w-no-of-outputs-1-x-content-1-pcs.pdf

Thank you for your reply. However, his pin configuration is different; the Vcc pin is also not the same. There is a 12V power supply here, but no further information is available.

Looking again, module in datasheet actually has one more pin on input side.

It does look very much like a 5V to 12V DC-DC isolation converter to me as well. The markings follow a semi-common standard from what I've seen for those, of InputVoltage OutputVoltage OutputCurrent. Is it possible to do some reverse engineering to find out what supplies it and what it supplies? Is it related to any I/O?
In my, albeit limited, experience unfortunately it can be very hard to track down components like that not made by the bigger electronics companies. All the best with your search though!
