Directed at people who proclaim with righteous indignation their desire to never again buy Pace, like Pace owes them something.

It's one thing to point out a problem and be annoyed, but another to feel entitled to it.

Advertised "for cell phone repairs and DIYers" on their own site. So you can see how the rest of us would be confused, clearly we don't understand things as well as you do.

That’s a very misleading, dishonest quote, as you omitted the word “serious” and didn’t even indicate the deletion with an ellipsis.

The actual sentence reads: “PACE’s ADS200 PLUS is a high power (up to 120 Watts), yet low-cost professional soldering station for serious cell-phone repairers, electronics techs, engineers, DIYers & production solder techs.”


I also think it’s moderated by the description later on: “Intended for extreme, multi-shift production use”.

No industrial product I can think of will advertise to cell phone repairers and DIYers. Regardless of how serious they are. Cell phone repair shops notoriously use the cheapest tools they can get their hands on.

Either way it was very clearly marketed at "us" and not an industrial use only product.
