No luck in getting the install disk made. What I get, instead of the files the instrument is expecting is "226-B0131.exe," an executable file. The install guide says one gets "install.o" and other files. I'm looking at the current download site: https://www.keysight.com/zz/en/lib/software-detail/instrument-firmware-software/esa-phase-noise-measurement-personality-option-226-1000001091epsgsud.html

The executable will not run on my Windows 11 computer, so I'm stalled.

Also I have an Agilent E7401A EMC Analyzer currently running firmware A.08.02, and I would like to upgrade it to A.14.06, which is the latest firmware for the E7400A series.

I downloaded the official EMC-A1406.exe, but I cannot get it to run on my modern Windows 10/11 PC. I have already tried Windows compatibility modes, including Windows 7/XP, without success. I also tried running it through OTVDM/WineVDM, but the NBL DiskDuplicator does not detect my USB floppy drive as A: or B:.

I am therefore looking for someone who has an older PC with a real floppy drive and could create the 7 original A.14.06 floppy disks, or provide images that can be written directly to 1.44 MB floppy disks.

The seven disks should be:

EMC Firmware 1 of 5
EMC Firmware 2 of 5
EMC Firmware 3 of 5
EMC Firmware 4 of 5
EMC Firmware 5 of 5
EMC Measurements

I already have the official EMC-A1406.exe, so I specifically need the ready-to-write floppy disks/images, not the firmware EXE itself.

I do this for hobbyists so asking for 3 instruments is too much. Pick one and also mention the options you want, my crystal ball is currently in the repair queue.

Ok, they are all mine it is not a company, but if you please can tell me in what page is where one can do the keys myself, I was reading and there is a lot of things mixed up. But I did succeed on the install of the personalities of the 226 Phase Noise and the 228 Bluetooth, If you can do the keys do the EMC analyzer E7401A of those two options.E7401A US41110459 Host ID B483E849.

Yes they work but the bluetooth option in a 1.5GHz is pretty much useless can you please give me the keys for the E4402B> MY45113849 Host ID A0122033. 226 and 228 so it makes some sense. Forget the other analyzer I cant even install the personalities as it has low memory.

Happy to report that, with a Mac and a USB floppy, I could install and enable option 226 on the E4407B! Yay! Thank you SO VERY MUCH!

I still have not been able to schedule testing on the EMC analyzer, but will do that next week.
