Bandwidth-tool still working as of Nov 2025 on my SDO1102B, great work guys  :-+
i was expecting to need to do the UART TTL2USB.. but it worked out of the box.

Only small issue i have, when changing filters or switching from RealTime to Eq it hangs shortly and than just reboots, but on a 2nd try it usually goes well.
But that was before the hack too. still very happy with my resent purchase.
new battery for 15 euro (during black friday week) and i am good to go.

Hello everyone.
Sorry for my poor English.
I'm asking for advice and perhaps help restoring the firmware of my Hantek DSO1062B.
I was given this oscilloscope "for parts." The story goes like this: the previous owner tried updating the firmware via USB, but something went wrong. The device malfunctioned and became a brick. He subsequently tried to repair it, but to no avail. As far as I can tell, someone desoldered and then re-soldered the NAND flash memory chip. It's possible (but not certain) that the chip was replaced. Now, when I try to turn on the oscilloscope, it emits a barely audible beep, and nothing else happens. After carefully inspecting the board, I found the power test points. After pressing the power button, the supply voltage appears to be 3.3V and 1.3V. The voltages labeled D5V, A5V, -5V, and 12V don't turn on. After inspecting the board, I discovered that the power supplies are based on TPS4292 PWM controllers. After reviewing their specifications, I discovered that the missing supply voltages shouldn't be enabled because the PWM controllers aren't receiving commands to enable the corresponding power supplies. As far as I understand, these voltages will appear once the firmware has loaded properly.
I can borrow a similar oscilloscope from a colleague. So, my question is: will reading the firmware with a similar oscilloscope help me? As I understand from this forum thread, I need to read the entire contents of the NAND flash memory using JTAG, correct? Please advise me on the best approach.
