I think this is another case of people expecting a silk purse for the cost of a pig's ear.
Seriously, if you want a scope that performs like a $1500 scope, you going to need to buy a $1500 scope. However, If you do, do not expect to to be bug free. There is no such thing.
I've seen this on AliExpress for $140 US including shipping to Canada. Take off $20 for the shipping, and that's a $120. If we assign $30 each to the DMM and SG, that leaves $60 worth of oscilloscope. That put's it squarely in the "toy " category. From what I've read here and seen on YT, it looks like a pretty useful toy at that.
$60 can only buy "mediocre" at best. Set your expectations accordingly.
BTW, it seems a damn sight better than the 1013D! HAs anyone bothered to test the bandwidth on this one?
