That’s not how I read it.
They explicitly say that when you’re willing to pay customs, it will be shipped immediately.
So what’s the difference for us, EU, to wait a month ?

There's nothing illegal here, one month is due to the transport channel selected, by train or by sea. These bulk shipments enters through the north of Europe, and all customs taxes and so on, are done at the arrival through some control countries. Destination customer only need to wait for the order or pay an extra custom fee depending on the value of the item bought (actually above 150€ you pay) If you need to pay, it will depend on the Tariff (Taric) tables of your country. For eg. in Portugal Oscilloscopes won't pay but AWG or WFG  pay something like 2.5% to 4% import taxes, plus 4% to the state, plus local vat, plus some small values to cover administrative costs, and so on, and so on. And yes Tariff (Taric) distinguish AWG from WFG so values are different.

Let me add this, most of the times you don't pay more taxes when the merchandise is sent from some EU warehouse because import taxes are already paid, and the sender is a registered company in EU. Normally don't, but don't be surprised if you do, It could happen with some specific products.

Note: EU is planning on removing the 150€ value and charge custom taxes on all imported products soon. Maybe using the same principle as VAT, like you pay all taxes when you place your order.

If you are in a hurry and decide that you want to pay customs, they won't charge you VAT and ANY TAX upfront, and of course your order arrives fast at destination country, BUT could stall at customs bureaucracy paperwork and it's you that must process all the work with all costs/time involved.

I prefer to wait because it's less time consuming and in the end I save a lot of headaches, but everyone knows what is best for themselves!

Yep, that seems to be what their marketing people think. "FRA" appears in the description before "oscilloscope":

The profit margin is a good point, but that might then be taxed on through different means, and the company still charges you extra to compensate for this.

That is why I did not mention processing fees in my post you quoted. In the case you have it shipped to you directly from China it might be a flat fee that is being charged. Somewhere in the region of 15 euros.

But I did not see, nor did I try, if the price FNIRSI charges is going to be different when you decide to have it shipped directly. It all is a bit vague.

Based on previous experience with FNIRSI I would first like to see a proper review and tear down of the device before even thinking about buying one.

This only applies if the feature is good.
Rigol didn't do anything good with the DHO900...
If I haven't missed something since the last update

I'd definitely wait for the real testers.
Fnirsi oscilloscope = waste&regret
or maybe I was wrong

Hello everyone..I am the owner of FNIRSI DPOS350P..Well, FNIRSI is in its repertoire as always.. The FNIRSI 1013D sores can also be traced in this model.. All the same "sores" with the sweep.. Frequency analyzer, lives its own life. The readings are floating, in obscene values.
Please don't kick me too hard, I'm still learning..

I also plan to purchase it, only from the analyzer,
can you see its operation up to 30 MHz?
in a nutshell, is it worth buying it, don't you regret buying it?

Starting with a simple RC low pass filter would be a nice way for you to start testing your new equipment and see how frequency response analyzer behaves  :-+

Measurements at frequencies of 10 MHz and 15 MHz.Comparison with RIGOL 1054..I still haven't figured out the frequency analyzer. Readings are jumping.. On NanoVNA, the frequency response readings are stable..s+

You know, I don't regret it...I took it for the sake of interest, realizing that there is nothing worth waiting for from FNIRSI at the moment.. Like a portable oscilloscope.. Unfortunately, I only have a generator up to 15 MHz... One of these days I'll try to remove the signal from NanoVNA

Thanks for your feedback, did you check the video on Facebook link posted a few posts back? they explain a little on how to use the frequency response analyzer.

I'm interested on the frequency response analyzer and on the spectrum analyzer and if they are well implemented I'll buy one myself, since it operates on the frequency range I'll mostly use.

What about boot time? did you measure it?

I'd be more interested in how quick the FRA works. How long does it take to sweep from 1kHz to 10MHz with 100 points per decade?

Could you please check some settings on your device, this will help me a lot in my buying decision

According to Frequency response analyzer:
- Is it possible to set excitation signal start frequency to 0Hz (or something below 100Hz)?

According to Spectrum analyzer:
- What is the actual frequency range? Specification on the website says it's 200Khz - 350Mhz, while manual states that Start, Center, Stop and Bandwidth frequency setting bar could be set in a range of 0~1GHz

Test conditions:
Generator is a calibrated HP 8647A
Direct connection from generator to scope via a 1m RG316 cable and a 50 ohm pass-through terminator.

First screen is @ 10MHz to set the level @ 100mV.  You can see it stays within 1.5dB up to 410MHz.  It falls apart @415MHz.
Last screen confirms 180MHz with two channels, which also beats specifications.

I must say I'm quite impressed.

Build quality is high and the touch controls are well laid out and work very well.  It comes well packaged in a really nice case with all the nesseccary accessories.  So far, for the $245 it cost me I think it's a very good value.  As time permits I'll test other functions and report back.

Two things I'm not a fan of.  1) The fan is quite noisy (see what I did there?.  If you are one of those that think the Siglent SDS1104X-E is cacophonous, then this is not for you.  2) Is there a way to turn off the LEDs on this sides?  That can only serve to reduce battery life.

I see the same here as what I saw in some video. The Vpp should only go down on increasing the frequency, not up. From 10MHz to 100MHz it drops a little, but than from 100MHz to 200MHz it goes up more than 10%, and even a bit further on 300MHz. So either the filter in the scope is not flat up to the top of the bandwidth, or there is again software trickery ongoing. Definitely not something to be impressed by.

If your generator is capable of outputting a pulse width adjusted square wave up in the 300MHz range try to see what it does with a 10% or even 5% pulse.

This is not a $2000 scope.  Can we keep that in mind?  When you can go out and find a sub $250 scope that does substantially better than this, then we can compare in like.  As I said, it's within 1.5dB from 10MHZ to 410MHz.  Even the generator's specs are +/- 1.5dB (but I know it's better than that) so It could even be partly due to the generator.

It won't.  Sine only.

It seems if we get 100 TE snobs in a room together we'll get 100 different ways to measure BW and scope performance.   A 300MHz 1GS/s scope IS NOT going to be able to do a good job of displaying a 300MHz square wave and you either know that and are just stirring things up, or you need to sit back quietly, crack open a good physics text and let $245 350MHz scopes be what they are.  :palm:

I have a Bodnar pulser and will try that out next.
