Crystal ball says the 804X HD will go for around 409€ in GER incl. VAT. Very competitive indeed. Now to see where the 1000XHD will land and if the increased features will convince me to spend more for capability I don't really need  ;)
I don't think they bring that model to Europe.

But it is included in the English (= international?) datasheet -- attached to the initial post of this thread.
You might be right. I searched the model number, and it's uploaded to a Hungarian webshop with prices, EUR prices included. VAT excluded.

They have the SDS1000X HD prices as well. Looks official pricing.

The increased memory depth comes as a surprise. If the doubled RAM capacity (seen in the SDS1000X HD teardown) is not required to enable 100 MPts, what is the extra RAM used for in the 1000X HD? If this strange model change should ever happen again to your scope, could you please double-check that the 100 MPts are actually usable?

That's my fear as well. The scope thinks he is a 824x hd and as such takes for granted  having the double of ram... but the hardware disagrees.

Neither of those are working.

Both come back "There are no products matching the filter criteria."

Yeah, when I press F5 same here. I guess they jumped the gun, released too early, and took it down.
804X HD was 409EUR as already mentioned, 812X HD the same. Other's I don't remember.
SDS1102X HD is 959EUR, SDS1104X HD 1099EUR. SDS1102X HD seemingly had 4 channels on the picture.
They had the SDS3000s as well, but I only remember that Martin72's pocket needs to pay up.

we still don't have clarity whether they are with or without VAT.

For retailers who also deliver abroad, the prices are usually without VAT, as this can vary from country to country.

But the one data point from eVision had the 804X HD at 409€ including VAT. (Disclaimer: That's according to the Google search result only, which may well be mashed up somehow.)

The prices are excluding VAT. At least that's what they claim on their basket page.

Measured against the performance that Performa01 has demonstrated to us, the prices are excellent.
And I also think that there is a certain intention - but why not, good for the buyer.

Seems pretty clear then. I guess Google's search summary of the eVision page is just messed up.

The SDS8.4X HD prices also happen to be very closely aligned with Rigol's DHO804, 814 and 924 if we assume prices excluding VAT. That can't be a coincidence.  :)

I used google transaltor

What I don't like is the black housing, the trend now seems to be to do everything in black

I'm guessing the SDS814X -> SDS824X 'mistake' was done via license code.  If that's the case, I'd assume if the SDS814X wasn't capable of 100Mpts then the license wouldn't also increase that feature.

Speculation, of course.

It seems like the majority doesn't like the black. I personally hate it.

I don't like the "color" either, but I'm used to it because we have newer LeCroy scopes at work that are all black (Wavesurfer, Waverunner, HDO).

On its own, I'm personally a big fan of the black over the white. Probably an artifact of my years in the old beige PC days of the 80's and 90's. I was never so glad to move to black PC cases.

My only concern with it is of course ALL of my other test equipment is white/beige, so having one black scope sticks out like a sore thumb. But believe me, if I could snap my fingers and everything change to black, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Me too, when the SDS3034X HD arrives it would be the only black one among all the other gear.

I´ve ordered the SDS3034X HD over a month ago, but not for 3380€. ;)

I prefer a light color, but so long as the contrast is good for everything it really doesn't matter to me.  :)  Much unlike some restaurants that love light grey on dark grey text in 8 point fonts with dim lighting...  :palm:

Personally I'm in the market for a scope but I think this is worth the wait. From what I understand from reading many threads here, compared to the new Rigol models you mainly give up the easy large monitor connections, but gain better measurement specs, the possibility to add MSO if/when you need it, and probably more stable software. Hopefully the prices are competitive and it will be available as anticipated in the US.

I had Rigol's DHO800 in almost daily use for over 3 months.
Compared to the results from Performa01's thread about the SDS800, there is a world of difference.
The correct prices have already been mentioned here, so they are mostly on par with those of rigol.
And in my opinion it is not a question of whether you want a scope with hdmi output or not.
The advantages of the Siglent models are too great to consider this as a criterion.

Well, I guess our only option now is to switch to their new pro gear stuff in black. Bastards got us with the cooler color scheme!  :scared:

Recall someone on here that had a Siglent SDM3045X that was creating some custom firmware that would extend the resolution to 6.5 digits. They also had painted the case a different color.

Sorry can't remember exact details but maybe someone will!!

BTW we kinda like the new KS34465 case, it's a charcoal color, the older were usual tan.

I remember that.

I also like the charcoal colors Keysight uses. Basically anything dark gray or black is preferable to white/beige/tan IMO.

I dream of having a new 34465 or a Keithley DM6500 (wish those came in black) but until then I'm stuck with my Agilent 34401A and SDM3065X (which are great in their own right, I just tend to covet what I don't have, lol)
