How do you propose to count quoted text?

It's fairly easy. You just need to remove all quoted text.

Just remove .quotefooter, .quoteheader and .bbc_standard_quote class elements and children using bs4 then return the python .text method results which will contain only the user posted words. Then some sqlite -> awk accumulation magic on the result.

I will add a raw word data column to the sqlite database with this in it and it can be used for post-processing / search then as well.

Reminds me of a Canadian Forces rang incident where a team laser designating a target had long grass in front of their position and the air dropped munition whent for the grass instead of the target. Foatunatly it was a practice round

Honestly, this is a constant problem when I take pics of my gaming PCs due to all the smoked glass; I've had to reshoot so many times at funny angles because of my fat belly in the shot, or my scraggly-bearded mug... and the faces I make when I'm concentrating can be downright frightening to "normal" people.

While we're talking about voltmeters, I ordered several of these plugin wall socket units back on February 18 so I could take one apart, destructively if necessary, to make sure they're safe and then have several others left to have as an at-a-glance check of the voltage present on my workbench and one or two other strategic locations:





These should've been here by now.  Even with the Suez Canal getting blocked up.  Even on a two person rowboat with one person paddling forward and the other backward.  These should've arrived by now.  May 25 is 15 days away.  If they aren't here by then, I'll be filing a claim with eBay on May 26 and then ordering from somewhere else.  This is ridiculous.

Only one conclusion to be reached eBay auction: #274783384562 even after a little spirited last 10 seconds of bidding I still think it is a good toy for the collection

It will perhaps require a filtered mains socket (not cheap either) and certain requires 6 bright white LEDs, 3 at each end of the screen for illumination, those are shot.

Yep, those old 705's when they were surplussed came back to Poughkeepsie to get torn down and scrapped. Everyone had a display of those vacuum tube logic gates. I had one but dunno what happen to it.
