Putting bed back together after washing the sheets, went to get the flat sheet and come back to this.

OK take your nap I'll get back to it later.  :(
I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

Seen this sort of thing many, many times. If he is underweight and still wolfs his food he is most likely infested with worms, some of which are a human health hazard- one in particular, TOXOCARA, can cause blindness. One will often see the advice to put a dose of antiworm medication in the food but in my experience this never works as the cat will taste it and refuse to eat, regardless of how hungry he/she may be. The only way is to scruff them and throw the tablet deep into their mouth or if a liquid squirt it towards the back of the mouth.

You don't have to go that far! For a difficult cat I have a pair of welding gauntlets which give fairly good protection. PS: we have been taking in lost and stray cats for over 30years- never turned a cat away, though it has been expensive.

If a cat is used to being around you and you don't make a lot of fuss, then feeding it a pill is doable without getting clawed. After a few times they get used to the procedure. You have to stroke the throat a bit as well to make sure the cat swallows the pill.

Quite right, I neglected to say that. With the pill at the back of the cat's throat I would keep the mouth closed and stroke them until the cat licks it's lips. Otherwise the pill will most likely be spat out.

I imagine it's quite difficult to tell one of those off when it claws the stair carpet. Handsome fellow, mind.

I'm not so sure.  Look at that back leg.  It's firmly footed.  It is primed for pounce, just keeping it discrete.

Tigers are known to be terrible pets as they move on from being kittens they become too dangerous for human interaction and their hunting techniques are very deceptive and deadly.  Even in play a single claw can kill you, even if accidental.

In 1974 I was sharing a house in the country, about 100m from a highway and a kilometre to the next place. Something disturbed my housemate's dobermann at the front door, which I opened to find a roughly 3 month old kitten with a broken rear leg, obviously domesticated to have approached the house. The vet said it had probably been broken 2-3 days by that time, and he was sufficiently starving to eat with complete disregard for the confused dobermann.
I named him Jesus Christ Supercat. Here he is a year later after I moved into the city. It is a scan made decades later from a cheap print, hence the colour. I wanted this because it captures his contentment on my lap.

He was my close companion for 18 years. This is late in his life, diligently instructing our child's young cat in important cat behaviours.

We buried him together as a family, composed on his favourite sheepskin rug.

Noted.  Would still pet.  Once.  Then become tiger food.  Such is life.
