There are times he likes to click the mouse, guess he likes the sound. I found him doing it at my office. That evening I told my wife and she told me he liked to do it to her office computer as well.

He also celebrated 8 months of life yesterday.

Can't find the article, but the wife showed me yesterday a story about how a fire department caught what they thought was a jaguar and returned it to the wild, but it turned out to be an expensive house cat that looks like the one of TheSteve  :-DD

What camera are you using to take all your cat photos?

Napping or not, always keep one paw on your mouse.

Should be easy to teach as he already knows how to use the mouse.  :-DD

He already follows me around when I use our Dyson, zero fear. I could vacuum the hair off his body. I have no doubt he'd ride a roomba to its death.

Of the many we've had a just couple would just love to be vacuumed and they shared in common some concern when their tail went up the pipe.  :-DD

Maxim pic taken with my new IR camera!

I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

He is also getting much better at extended walks of several blocks late at night. During the day there are often too many distractions to really get moving.

Well it has taken some time. He is only allowed outside with the harness on or in a stroller/backpack. We've spent lots of time in the yard or at the office with it. His understanding of how it works is getting better each time. Such as navigating around poles and such. I can guide him for the most part, have him change direction. I do still have to stop and let him sniff, but can ask him to get going again and he usually complies. Just takes time, practice and some patience. Overall I'm very pleased with the progress we've made together.

Don't think the cats we had would have liked it. But they lived outside for the first half year of their lives. The mother cat was from a neighbor but gave birth at our house. My wife was allergic for cats when she was young so we talked about it an decided to keep them as farm cats, but at first it looked like she was not affected by them and keeping them outside is not easy. Leave a door open and they walk in. So we allowed them in. Even put in a cat flap. The only risk around here is foxes and other cats. They did get into fights once and a while.

But after eight years my wife started to get some health problems and blood tests showed allergic reactions to cats. There was only one cat left, which made it a bit easier to find another home for her, the cat that is.

The mother cat took of on her own when she noticed that the youngsters where allowed to stay. The neighbors moved and took her with them we think. As written before the boy cat died due to cancer.

So now I enjoy the pictures of you guys  :-+

Sadly no. We had to say goodbye to Xerox in January 2019, and Ubix in March the same year.  :'(
We did not replace them at the time because we were hoping to do a lot more international travel. Then covid happened.
We may get a couple of Dalmatians again next year. Once a dog person, always a dog person.

You can see the leash in the lower middle of the picture and I think I can see his eyes, but it is a bit like finding Waldo  :-DD
