I was watching a thing from over there last week where they said they used to hang anyone, without trial, if they found them putting salt on the tracks. It attracts Mooses onto the tracks and therefore the train driver had to slow the train which allowed bandits to climb on and raid.

Now knowing where Minx spends her days....on the drivers seat in an old truck cab and we often pop our head in to say gidday and today with apparently enough rest she ventured forth to see what grandad and her dog Fly were up to.
On the way was a good layer of dust covering the concrete apron just outside the workshop door and what better to do than dull the nice shiny coat with a dust bath......but first she and Fly had a game of chase whitch Minx normally wins < great buddies they are.
She don't look much until you pick her up, all 5kg of wiry muscle !

Meet Ransom, our 8 week old kitten.    He's enjoying inspecting the precision screwdrivers and various bits and bobs on the shelf, and has become well accustomed with the effects of gravity on M10 bolts.

I found a video on my phone from the same time as the "Big eyes" photo.

You can see around 0:45 when I start scratching something just out of her view that full on "hunter eyes" engage.

That cat looking down upon it's possible prey reminds me of the opening lines of H.G. Wells The War of the Worlds:

"No one would have believed in the last years of the nineteenth century that this world was being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than man's and yet as mortal as his own; that as men busied themselves about their various concerns they were scrutinised and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a man with a microscope might scrutinise the transient creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. "
I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

Cryptocurrency has taught me to love math and at the same time be baffled by it.

Cryptocurrency lesson 0: Altcoins and Bitcoin are not the same thing.
