According to the picture, your oscilloscope is not calibrated.
FNIRSI 1013D Always provide a picture or video with the problem where the parameters of the oscilloscope are visible, and a picture of the diagnostic screen with the values.
Firmware is here (or not) https://github.com/Atlan4/Fnirsi1013D/tree/main/Guide%20to%20firmware

Atlan  :) Alright, I’ll take care of the new calibration soon. thanks for letting me know...

By the way, the Revised 1013D Instruction manual you created is excellent. Have a wonderful Christmas  :-+

Two options for backing up calibration data.

Three options for restoring calibration data from a backup.

Of course, after this, a basic level calibration is required. Disconnect the probes and perform a basic calibration.

How should I interpret the approximate frequency of these transient spikes?

Use the cursor to measure, but practically it has the frequency of the sine.

Before anything else, let me introduce myself; I'm new here.

Happy holidays to everyone.
I have a few questions, and the first is whether it's possible to do this on an EF2L45LG144B.

Or is it only possible on earlier versions?

Thanks in advance.

FELIPE: I don't see any problem there, the original firmware looks like it's of a normal type.

It's the holidays, so I don't feel like doing anything.
In addition, one board with stm32103 is dead, and the other one can't be programmed, so I disconnected the uP and ordered a new one. But they will arrive sometime on 19.1 2026.
So the experiments with EF2 will start after this date. Basically, there is no problem generating code for EF2, but it won't have 15k samples, only 12k samples - always better than 3k.
Firmware 1.009n can also be used on the original FPGA firmware, but some functions will not work, and there is a bit of a problem in auto mode - if the trigger is not captured. When I have time and desire, I will generate a new version with support for old FW FPGAs.

You can see the designation of this type of IO circled in red on devices with the AL3 chip and on devices with the EF2 chip. It is used to adjust the display brightness, the original chip had a signal limitation below 1khz but the one installed there now can have a signal from 20 to 1Mhz, so it would be possible to remove the whistling with alternative FPGA firmware. So write the designation of the IO. Thank you

That would be great but what is it that you need exactly? It's pinout? Photo with markings of the chip in red circle?
I have EF2 units I can take apart any minute today.

Instead of using the enable input of the backlight driver a simple change of the circuit can reduce the current through the backlight.

With the potentiometer it is possible to adjust the brightness, but it can also be done with the PWM signal. The current is set with the shunt resistor(s) and with the potentiometer or the PWM it can be doubled.

I have used this on a couple of boards I made for playing with those 7 inch LCD's that the 1013D also uses. There is no on and off switching of the boost converter, so the coil whine is not there.

Rozwell: just write the code from the chip

PC: Yes, I know about that, but the Chinese installed a new lighting control IC, the MT9284-B11G8, which allows 20khz to 1Mhz on enable for PWM lighting control - of course, the approach of the latter was that they did not fix the code so that it would not beep......

From both EF2 scopes:
B11G8a
B11G8Q
So it seems to be a MT9284-28J driver

I've the same chip.
I think, this is a PT4103B23F.

most likely, yes, this chip supports a high frequency of 1.2 MHz as well as B11G8

Happy new Year!

I've desoldered the flash and soldered the lines. But the fpga flash can not read.
I tested all the connections and I noted the pinning with the line is different.

As info, my board has a Winbond 25Q80DV not a Zetto ZB25VQ.
The pin assignment of the chip is the same, but the connector assignment is different.

I've make a draw from the pinout. I hope the help anyone.
The picture is bevor I've corrected the pinout.
I marked the connectors with one and two lines.

I compared the FPGA.bin with a firmware from the forum and I think, I've a AL3.
@Altlan can you confirm this?
Thanks

Edit:
I've noticed that the updater isn't using the real-time clock. Mine always shows 8:41:44 on December 10, 2025. Is it possible to adjust this?

Not Atlan, but I can confirm that you have the AL3 variant. The correct ID for it is set in the bitstream. (FPGA.bin)

Yes, I have fun  :)
The FPGA is updated to the last version from you.

I see a fix time in the updater screen and the upload e.g. from the screen config has the same time 8:41:44 and date 2025-12-10.
Or I don't  understand what you mean...

Theoretically yes. After replacing the original firmware in the fpga, you have to unsolder the connecting wires, install the flash with the FNIRSI firmware on the SD card. That's all.
