Transparent knobs?
« on: July 04, 2013, 10:30:07 pm »
I got some of these illuminated rotary encoders:

http://ch.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=PEL12T-4225S-S1024virtualkey65210000virtualkey652-PEL12T4225SS1024

They look great, but I couldn't find any transparent knobs to go with them, neither at Mouser nor at Digi-Key. Does anyone know of a source?

Thanks for any hints.

Those look like they would be compatible with the knobs that Sparkfun has.

Otherwise, you can try making your own by using some cut solid acrylic tubing.

I delete PMs unread. If you have something to say, say it in public.

I got some of those as well.

Haven't quite figured out why I bought them or what I'm going to do with them. But they looked pretty on the website  ^-^

These are clear:

450-AA150C - Eagle Plastic Devices - CLEAR 15mm D-SHAFT

I used them with this Bourns rotary encoder:
PEC11-4215F-S0024
