And why is he caneling sales while those Keithleys are still available?!!!?
http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/m.html?_odkw=&_ssn=street-autoparts&item=191410738692&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2046732.m570.l1313&_nkw=keithley&_sacat=0

And he uses the picture of the 30V/5A version for every listing.
This gets more and more interesting and funny

Do you actually get to leave a rating if the order is cancelled?
Not his feedback but the seller rating maintained by ebay - the DSRs are part of this but you also get demerits for "defects" including the seller cancelling orders.

Edit: and I think he's going to be cancelling a lot of orders.

lol I'm in for $2k worth.....this will be funny if I get a shipping confirmation.  With ebay and pay pal buyer protections there is no issue about getting "scammed".....I have dealt with deadbeat ebay deals before and got my money back within a couple days of filing complaint

If, by some miracle the units show up at the warehouse, I will be happy to re-list them for a couple hundred bucks each and keep a few dozen for the lab.....

Just imagine having a keithly psu to power each component in a development topology.... :-DD

Time to order a few bags of pomona quick clips, some bananas and some hook-up wire  :-+

Lol that's taking the mick a bit ordering 2k worth :P

But he was talking about keeping a "dozen" for the lab and stuf, so presumably 2k$ worth of ordering... At just under $10 a piece, that's 200 powersupplies (not including shipping)  :palm:

Dear Street-Autoparts Shopper,

This is a courtesy email to let you know that the order you placed online on 13th of November 2014 will not be process. And you will receive a cancellation notice for your recent online order from Street-Autoparts.

We wanted to reach out to you to help you understand why your order has been cancelled. We know that this is a very unfortunate situation and certainly it is never our intention to disappoint anyone who chooses to shop with us online.

This technical issue posed a significant challenge for our IT department and in turn a decision was made by management to cancel all the orders placed on 13th of November. Your order will be cancelled and you will be refunded in full if any payment has been made.

We would very much like the opportunity to make amends, and we are offering you direct communication using eBay.

 Regards,
 IT Team

Kinda seems like he enjoys it with that attitude...

I ordered two, but now feel bad for the IT guy that is going to take the blame for screwing up the ordering/pricing system. Someones job or livelyhood could be at stake here, especially if this issue tarnishes the ebay sellers reputation permanently.

I hope the company treats its employees with forgiveness...

Oh well.  It was worth a shot.

Not the first time this has happened to me.  Someone got their decimal place in the wrong spot on this one.

Me too, Look at this one... Ended up with 10pcs instead of 10.000 pcs (seller refunded without hassle)

All orders for the 13th are cancelled, not just the supplies.

TBH, I would rather this ending than brick in a box arguments.

I wonder if the OP had kept very quiet would his have arrived?

Strangely enough they still offer a couple of models on eBay. I would expect that after a fuck up one would remove the eBay listings first, before sending cancellation mails...

If you check their feedback, and click on the link to see only the negative feedback, they seem to have a history of selling items not in stock.  And complaints of not sending refunds right away.

This guy isn't putting anyone out of business any time soon with his $3k capacitors and $12 resistor strips.  Listing bot it may be, doesn't really affect me, so I don't care.

I'm just left wondering who actually pays $11.14 to get some SMD resistors or capacitors.  :-//

Order cancelled by seller.
Given how many have sold, that's going to dent his seller rating
Do you actually get to leave a rating if the order is cancelled?
No

The price was changed to $9000 a few minutes ago, and now both the listings (20V and 30V versions) are marked as ended. I guess that's the end of it. Let's see when I will get my cancellation e-mail...

Edit: Correction.

I'm just left wondering who actually pays $11.14 to get some SMD resistors or capacitors.  :-//

he also had some insane prices on ferrite clamps and photo-resistors.....listing bot gone mad....

i don't feel bad for the guy at all....he thinks he can use a robot to make easy money, vs the people who spend the time to provide quality/accurate listings on ebay

guys like this are the ones who really killed the original intent of ebay....well maybe not intent (who knows what that was) but they turned ebay into a place where it's hard to get a deal or make a buck....

i rather look forward to having to file a grievance against them to get my $ back.....anything that dings their account and makes them think twice about their "business practices"....it's rather shameful IMO  :-//

There is also the highly unlikely chance that one or two of the units I ordered might slip through the cracks and actually turn up?  doubtful, but would be somewhat hilarious
