Yes, that is what I have in there. Have the latest firmware.
Okay message me via PM with your email address and we'll run a recovery package.

Do you think it will make a difference?
It boots up to a "normal" looking state, so the software should not be an issue. It just has no signal on the output BNCs.
This is going to be a hardware problem
We cannot know until we try which then narrows what might be the issue.

You could also try reinstalling the latest firmware.
Also try a default reset, it's somewhere in the Utility menu.

Without doing anything to it. After it was sitting unplugged overnight it booted up normally in the morning.
If it fails again I will update this conversation.
Thank you

I have a SDG2122X with the latest firmware 2.01.01.38 and possible with a new hardware 05-02-00-46-00
Today I played with SCPI commands, and suddenly create a file with name "wave_test".bin <-- with quotes!!!
And now I can`t delete this file!

If you want to create file with undeletable name you can just type this SCPI command:

C2:WVDT WVNM,"wave_test",WAVEDATA,0x10002000300040005000600070007fff00008000900080000000

This undeletable file still can be loaded and used to generate waveform. It just cannot be deleted!
Is there any possibility to delete this file from SDG local storage?

Except this, I found that long pressing to "save/recall" create a screenshot (.bmp) on the local storage. And it seems the only way to get it is copying it to usb flashdrive via instrument UI.

Please help! I bought  SDG2042X last week. HW version:  06-00-00-46-00 and the latest 37R8 firmware. Unfortunately immediately found a very annoying bug. >:( If I try to change the carrier frequency of FM modulated signal (for example 30MHz, 1kHz FM, 75kHz deviation), it just stops generating, producing some gibberish on the output. I have to toggle on/off the "mod" knob or the output every single time when I change the carrier frequency via the "parameter" menu. In AM mode it works normally. I never had this problem with my other Rigol DG1022Z generator. I don't know if this a fault with my particular unit or it's a bug. Can anyone try to reproduce this please? I still have time to return it. I also reflashed the latest firmware but it didn't help.

Thanks for your time. I see you have a different HW version. My just stops outputting a properly FM modulated signal, replacing it with some strange garbage with the same level. It only recovers if I switch off and then on the "mod" or "output" buttons.  :( Did you check if your signal stays the same with the same deviation and FM modulated frequency? Because if the oscilloscope is not triggered properly it may seem that the output it's normal, when it's actually not. I noticed this bug with my radio receiver first...

Definitely yes. Only the carrier frequency changes.
I bought it two weeks ago. So it`s also new.

That happens sometimes with newer hardware.

I will watch this tread if someone with the same HW version as mine have the same bug.

I have the same software version as you, 2.01.01.37R8, but an earlier hardware, 02-02-00-41-00. My unit shows the same behaviour as documented by Magaham: Changing the carrier frequency causes a dropout for 450 µs or so, then the modulated output resumes as it should.

So this points more towards your (very recent?) hardware revision than towards the specific software version being behind the bug you observe.

So mine is with older HW version than the Mahagam's or newer? I've sent a request to Siglent support. I hope that they will answer, as I have to decide to return or keep the unit, hoping for a firmware fix...  ::)

I was assuming that the higher the first digits of the hardware version, the newer it is. But maybe that's not true? My hardware rev. 02... unit was bought in late 2018.

I made a short video demonstrating the issue: If you turn up the volume you can hear the radio receiver too...

Most of us look for new Fw. on EU or US sites where this version is not yet published.
I don't understand this stupid habit of chinese companies to neglect regional sites.

When I try to access int.siglent.com, I automatically get redirected to siglenteu.com. The content (including firmware downloads) is probably different on that site. Not ideal, and I have not found a way to suppress the redirection and brwose the international site -- short of using a VPN connection and pretending to come from Asia, I assume.

Try here:
https://int.siglent.com/download/firmwares/

However that won't find SDG2000X V38 FW
Tjuurko's or Mortymore's link will get you there.

THANK YOU! The 38 firmware fixed the issue! Now I can change the carrier frequency directly, without a need to restart output or modulation with buttons. So for a future reference there is a bug with HW version:  06-00-00-46-00 and the 37R8 firmware combination and changing the FM carrier frequency. I hope everything else would work as it should.
I hate to admit though, that I'm not trilled by the Siglent EU support. After exchanging a few messages (I gave them the link for the video too) they still have a hard time to understand the issue. Yes, my native language is not English, maybe theirs too, but common. They tried to convince me that the issue is with my oscilloscope!? :-DD :--

1st click on int.siglent.com will redirect you. just close page and click on link again - it will open international site without redirection.

I have a problem:
If I use the internal trigger source when I sweep a signal, everything works flawlessly. But when I try to trigger from external source, the signal starts to disappear and it doesn't work as it should anymore. I tried 2 different external generators as a trigger source and the result was the same. Of course the external trigger signal is with the same amplitude and frequency as the internal one. Any ideas how to fix this? And yes, I tried the same scenario with my other Rigol DG1022Z generator and it works flawlessly with both internal and external trigger sources while sweeping. I only bought this SDG2042 because of the higher frequency capabilities, but now I'm starting to bitterly regret. Every function I need, simply doesn't work properly. I made a short video with english subtitles/closed captions, trying to demonstrate the problem. You can take a look, if interested. Thank you!

Have you tried setting the period of your external trigger signal a tad longer than 14 ms (your sweep duration)? If the next trigger edge arrives while the seep is still ongoing, it might be ignored.
