As an aside, I was just listening to a quiz panel show. I've double checked and 'Donald' has a Gaelic derivation (given his Scottish ancestry) meaning 'ruler of the world' or 'world mighty'! 'Trump', on the other hand, in the UK county of my birth means to 'break wind - fart'. I guess this gives some sub-textural flexibility depending on which name you use.
And oop t'north, T'rump has another interpretation
Which is just another slur.
Talk about the schoolyard ...
Every President has nicknames.
My favorites (from a Wikipedia list):
Martin van Buren: The American Talleyrand
Millard Fillmore: The American Louis Philippe
Andrew Johnson: Andy the Sot, cf Mehmet the Sot of the Ottoman Empire
Woodrow Wilson: Coiner of weasel words
Richard Nixon: Tricky Dick
Ronald Reagan: The Teflon President
Bill Clinton: Slick Willie
The present incumbent may be remembered in the rhyming slang: to take a Donald.
