Not sure what the age to start using a soldering iron is with the potential for splattered liquid metal, but.....
My son is 4 1/2 years old and can already manage a decent solder joint (with supervision!).
McBryce.
In the Weird Al video "White and Nerdy", Al has a soldering gun, with a handle...
That always bothered me. Would be really hard to use.
Radio Shack sold that. A soldering iron in a soldering gun form factor. Seemed odd to me, never bought one.
I had one of the Rat Shack ones - heck, it's probably still kicking around here somewhere. I don't recall it being particularly awkward to use, and the handle stayed much cooler than the standard el-cheapo pencils I had at the time.

Aaaahahahaha! Confused deer in the headlights look? Check! Condescending leer? Check! Hands clasped like Montgomery Burns? Check!
Eeeeexcellent.
What's with the face? And has it anything to do with where that blue tube ends?
McBryce.
Those gloves look kind of thick to be using that Xuron cutter on the table. Can she even pick it up with them on?

I don't get what she's doing wrong? Other then wearing a bunny suit, but her hair is out? And it's not a clean room?

If you say so. Please bear in mind what an annoying, lying, manipulative, twat she is before you commit though.

You're right. But that's a risk that can happen, lots people is an expert hiding their real intentions. Just be brave and strong, repair yourself like a good capacitor!
I brought a few of these and noticed one had an "upgraded" extra fat earth pin. Searched online and found several stock images for different plugs that are defective as well. Can imagine people blindly stabbing these in until something breaks.
They are 15A plugs. The extra fat earth pin is so that it cannot be plugged into a 10A socket. You can plug a 10A plug into a 15A socket. Seems sensible to me.
I wonder why UK and Aussies use such weird three pin plus. What's so cool with it? They look awkward to me!

Among other things.
I like our old fashioned death trap electrical plugs and outlets; you learn a healthy respect for electricity by getting zapped as a child.
Looks like some kind of lead based sealant. It's to make sure the electrons don't fall out during transportation.
HPM brand Australian power plug.

Those HPM plugs are a last resort. Get Clipsal stuff, it's much better.
The first one is most likely the connector to some engine sensor in a car, no chance of an scary voltages there. But the second one?? What on earth is he trying to do? An is that some sort of mini bed he's made for the component?
McBryce.
And the notes are a real show.
A lot of engineer doing that, engineer doind this. RF Engineer (melting down some throug hole resistors....)
