demo 0.26u6 increased reference channels to 8  ..... :horse:   added measurement of 8ref channels. The question is whether it is necessary to enter up to 8refs in the measurement options so that they can be compared with each other.

demo version, do not use

You asked—what do others think? Atlan could benefit from more feedback from forum users.

Thanks for Demo firmware 0.26u6,  :-/O which supports up to 8 reference  :palm: capture signals over two input channels on the 1013D. In my opinion, 8 is excessive for a simple measurement tool 1013D. unless each reference can be moved vertically—otherwise, it becomes cluttered. If you need 8 references with X & Y movement, consider another Oscilloscope .

For naming, simple labels like R1, R2, R3, R4 etc. would be sufficient. Personally, 3 to 6 reference signals (3 x Per Channel) across two input channels is ideal. (References colours look good to me —the lighter, the better.)  :-+ Hope this helps....

The reference-based icon measurements are very useful—please keep this feature. If Y-axis movement is added, it would be a major improvement. :-+

Can someone using Firmware 0.26u8 confirm if saved references 1 to 8 are restored after turning off the 1013D? Mine does not reload saved references after powering off  :palm:

With Firmware 0.26u9 Reference captures, when I save REF 1only, it saves after turning the device off and on again  :-+. However REF 3 and REF 4 icons & REF 6 appear as saved; however nothing saved  :palm:. Thanks.

Something must be copied in the ref stream before saving. Try again. Or upload video

Hi atlan
Excellent Excellent. thanks a lot for supporting 8 channels.
I may give you some explanation of how it is so good for my needs.
As I have said before, I use the scope to analyze fake and original phone chargers.
Many times, I have to see different chargers output shape, like ripple or specially rise time or transition time to see the quality. Before having ref wave forms it was really hard. With  4 wave forms It became really easy and now with 8 I can easily have MULTIPPLE REF wave forms of , for example,8 different 25W original Samsung chargers output. because there is not just one version of an original charger you see. So now I can have them all on the screen and compare them with the new charger to see if it is an original one or how it differs from them. Is it bad, good or just average?
Thanks a lot Atlan for making this possible, nonetheless I completely understand if you have to reduce them to 4 o any other numbers. truly you made this scope so great my man. I hope someday you will have time to add PeakDetect mode if possible.
BTW, do you think it is possible to move the refs up and down?

After a simple test I've tested references 1 to 4 on channel 1 using my Owon DGE2070 generator,  capturing different frequencies, periods, and voltages as sine waves. After saving each signal and restarting the 1013D, all four reference signals remained visible  :-+

However, when I use the measurement section on the 1013D, the results kept changing depending on which reference (REF1-REF4) is selected. I performed 20 measurements in total and noticed differences with measurements that should be the same each time asked !! has anyone else experienced this with firmware 0.26v, or could it be an issue with my setup ?  :-/O

Note Ref 8 blanks out in black Select all & clear & hide (in channel 2)  see my picture 4

Touch move ref1 - ref8 v0.26v2

The black color error in the measurement menu should be removed.

What do you mean by measurements, make a video or a description?

It is quite a big intervention in the program. The colors are the least. Orange and green. I think that the reference waveforms would not be scrollable, the time scale would be calculated according to the current time base setting. The volt/div display size does not change. The reference waveform is directly saved to temporary memory for quick comparison or loaded from saved waveforms. Do you accept the limitation of scrolling of ref. waveforms?
Do these limitations still apply?

4 refs per channel is enough for me but I don't mind having 8 😁
I'll test new firmware out shortly, thanks! 👍

Atlan sent you a YouTube video link. I need to restart my unit to see References, but I'm not sure why or what i am doing wrong . Also, my measurements changed—I'm unsure what's causing the issue. :palm:

I need to restart my 1013D unit with firmware 0.26v2 to view References, Could it be my micro SD card as might be the problem, though I'm not certain. My measurements keep changing, and I'm unsure why. I'll try a new micro SD card to see if it helps.

The yellow area is used to control the shift of ref1-ref8 waveforms. (does not allow CH1 and CH2 shift)
If the voltage cursors are enabled, then the shift of CH1 and CH2 does not work in the green area, so that the cursors can be moved for voltage measurements in the green area.
v0,26v3

The program takes up 670 sectors on the SD card, 708 of which are already filled with data. It will probably be necessary to create some space, which will cause minor complications.

I'm very pleased with the addition of vertical Y Axis reference signal movement  :-/O —thank you.

I've ordered a new Micro SD card for my 1013D to address a few minor issues  :palm: and plan to recalibrate everything from scratch in a few days  :-+

Currently, the reference measurements of captured signals keep changing each time I check them  :palm:  :-// .. Does any one else have an issue with a captured reference signals brought in and open Measurements for say Vpp- Freq - Cycle  as mine seem to change from my paper notes made :)

After hours of measurements  :phew: with my 1013D, I found that using within measurements Vpp and frequency as references gives stable results (cycle /Period can be ignored mine keeps changing with firmware 0.26v3). All four References captured all readings show the same frequency, but voltages drop from 3V to 2V, then 1V, then 500mV—which works perfectly for my purposes. Could you limit the range of measurements instead 12 over 2 input channels for references' ?  :-+

Hello! Where can I download the firmware v0.26v3?

In message#3142 is a attachement 'fnirsi_1013d.bin.txt ' - this is 26v3

Change file extension '.txt' to '.bin' and upload the firmware into your scope.
