With the new FPGA firmware, how can we recover if the SD card fails?

You remove the SD card and insert it into the reader on your PC, or you can simply insert a new card with recorded content via Loader 113 on your PC.

Is there a firmware version for the Altera EP4CE6E22C8N FPGA?

The versions from before Atlan started with changing the FPGA configuration do for sure. I believe the latest version can also work with it, but is limited to the 3000 samples and might need some extra configuration.

Is there a firmware version for the Altera EP4CE6E22C8N FPGA?

The dso1.00o firmware is compatible with the standard firmware in the FPGA. Theoretically I can generate firmware for the altera FPGA (but without guarantee and you have to make a backup of the flash spi content for the FPGA - because I don't have such content) Otherwise AL3 and Ep4ce6 are pin compatible, it is even possible to install EP4ce10 and get more sample memory

Try the altera EP4CE6 but  don't what it will do.

Thanks for the firmware. The firmware works.
One note: the initial display brightness setting in the firmware is 50%. At this setting, the oscilloscope display is completely dark. The image appears at 51-52%.

I'll look into it. Use firmware v1. 00o. Max number of samples for EP4CE6 is 12000. (I'll fix the firmware for EP4) Otherwise it is possible to install EP4ce10 which would increase the number of samples. Otherwise you don't have a calibrated oscilloscope, the trigger will not work properly, and the oscilloscope will jam. Read the firmware manual.

Hi Atlan, I tested DSOv1.00o on Fnirsi FW FPGA EF2L. I set the memory depth to 3000. The automatic setting did not work and the device freeze. I rolled back FW DSOv0.27u and the device works correctly. Will my test protocol help you or is it not necessary to test like this? Thanks.

fix brightness for EP4CE6 fpga
I tested the new firmware version. The display still dims at 50%. The display brightness at 100% is even lower than it was in the first firmware version.

My mistake, those are the remnants of the frequency change for dimming so that it doesn't beep. try

Good evening! I installed the latest version of the FPGA firmware for AL3 and now the display backlight is practically not working, 100% brightness is visible only when the lights are off, and the bootloader menu is not visible at all, and now I can't roll everything back.

I'll check on Monday if I get the device working again. It seems the FPGA in my device has stopped configuring.

You can force the backlight to turn on by applying 3.3V to the EN pin of the backlight controller IC. You posted a photo of this IC on page 143. There's a 1kOhm resistor next to the required pin. Apply 3.3V through a current-limiting resistor.
