How could one work for ICE without being a criminal or a person with a very, very bad attitude ?
Intrinsically bad persons.

In these three instances the police of what I assume is your country are accused of beating suspects in custody. Do you claim that all Belgium police are criminal, have a very bad attitude are are "intrinsically bad persons"?

I'm interested to see the honesty of the folks here in this thread.

Do not feed the troll. And the woke.
They are just going to put your words upside down, claim that satan is the good guy and call you a nazi. Zero point in the discussion.

Wearing a swastika is just an opinion??
perfectly acceptable if yer a buddhist

you mind explaining?
Quote
The swastika was and continues to be used as a symbol of divinity and spirituality in Indian religions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.[1][5][6][7][8] It generally takes the form of a cross,[A] the arms of which are of equal length and perpendicular to the adjacent arms, each bent midway at a right angle.[10][11]
The word swastika comes from Sanskrit: स्वस्तिक, romanized: svastika, meaning 'conducive to well-being'.[1][12] In Hinduism, the right-facing symbol (clockwise) (卐) is called swastika, symbolizing surya ('sun'), prosperity and good luck, while the left-facing symbol (counter-clockwise) (卍) is called sauvastika, symbolising night or tantric aspects of Kali.[1] In Jain symbolism, it is the part of the Jain flag.[13] It represents Suparshvanatha – the seventh of 24 Tirthankaras (spiritual teachers and saviours), while in Buddhist symbolism it represents the auspicious footprints of the Buddha.[1][14][15] In the different Indo-European traditions, the swastika symbolises fire, lightning bolts, and the sun.[16] The symbol is found in the archaeological remains of the Indus Valley civilisation[17] and Samarra, as well as in early Byzantine and Christian artwork.[18][19]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika

On a normal Japanese city map, the torii gate is the map symbol for a (Shinto) shrine, while the swastika is the map symbol for a (Buddhist) temple.
They also use a cross for a church and a Star of David for a synagogue.
The "Anasazi" culture in what is now the US southwest used a swastika with one circumferential leg missing before the Spaniards arrived.
The evil person who shall not be named did not invent it.

I thought the difference between their ("Anasazi") and the other swastika was that one ran clockwise, the other counterclockwise. Or maybe that was another different symbol.

BTW, good of you to put scare quotes around "Anasazi", as that was in no way their actual name: it was the moniker given them by Yurpeens, like the other term used for them, "Sinagua", meaning "without water". (Except that when they lived there they had plenty of that.)

If ever in Arizona you can visit one of their former places of inhabitation, the magnificent "Montezuma's Castle".
The site shows that they had a pretty good understanding of the use of passive solar techniques for increasing comfort.
Nobody actually knows just why their civilization failed ...

Analog Kid you have exhibited a penchant for English pedantry but I noticed that you thanked @Sorana and didn't offer any suggestions. I assume this means you hate all ICE employees and believe they are all "Intrinsically bad persons." That was interesting to learn today.

I have read that the Australian post is working on a solution, but does not have an ETA.

Did you quote the cost up front, and you're responsible for the cost of shipping back?  Is it challenging to use the other services?…….

Many thanks to all sane posters…for advice

OK, I'll answer your (super-annoying) probes here.

First of all, my distinct impression of you is that you're an admirer of Donald Trump, but without going so far as venturing into MAGA territory, possibly out of some remaining shreds of decency on your part. But everything you write here ends up being an apologia for the Orange One.

That being as may be--I claim no special powers at psychoanalyzing others who post on the Intertubes, as my crystal balls are all in the shop being recalibrated--I'll address the ICE issue.

First of all, I do subscribe to the ACAB ("all cops are bastards") theory as regards police in general. For certain values of "all", of course. Somewhere here at Analog Kid Laboratories, GmbH, I have a piece written--by a cop--that pretty much confirms this.

But regarding ICE, we need not delve into the problematic area of trying to discern their motives for choosing that line of work or psychoanalyzing them. It's sufficient to see what Trump has been doing in order to militarize American society to know, definitively, what the fuck is actually going on.

Anyone with half a brain--even a Libertarian--can see the intent, and the effect, of pressing actual military forces, and the quasi-military operatives of ICE on civil society here in the United States of Amnesia. If you're the least bit honest, and drop your pretenses at being "fair and impartial" and drop your ideological biases--difficult to do, I know, but do try--you can see the toxic effects on the country here. The beatings. The masked-up officers, obviously to hide their identity (totally illegal, by the way!). The grabbing off the streets of day laborers and agricultural workers, solely based on the color of their skin, their language and their occupations. (They even snatched members of a Washington state firefighting team, in the middle of fighting a goddamn forest fire!, showing that the insane tilt towards Eliminating All Illegal Immigration trumps public safety writ large; "let that fire burn; we want those fucking 'Meskins!").

So yes, that's my attitude towards ICE these days. In normal circumstances, protecting a nation's borders is a proper thing to do. These days, it's just part of, yes, I'll say it, an incremental lurch towards fascism. No, we're not living in a fascist state. Not yet, anyhow. But we seem to be getting there.

One last thing: depending on which side of bed I get up on, I'm anywhere from 15 to 30% libertarian (small "l") myself. I respect the philosophy of leaving victimless crime alone, and of respecting individuals. And especially their aversion to wars--all wars. I draw the line at anything approaching Randian libertarianism, which to me is just about the most toxic political philosophy of all.

Technically, when the Spaniards reached the southwest and asked the locals (Navajo or Pueblo) about the ruins, the locals said they were done by the "Anasazi", politely translated as "ancient ones", but perhaps "ancient enemies".
Their civilization apparently ended before the arrival of the Spaniards, roughly 1300.  I believe Bandelier National Monument is a very late settlement.
Since the modern Pueblo people consider them to be among their ancestors, the "enemy" bit is disliked and the politically-correct term is "Ancestral Puebloans".

We had a droll Navajo guide on our tour of Canyon de Chelly in Arizona.  His spiel included a discussion of the Chacoan culture:  "The Ancient Ones...when they had a weekend off...would go to Chaco Canyon to check out the latest culture."

Pre-Nazi, swastikas (Sanskrit term) occur worldwide in both rotational orientations.  I remember seeing Anasazi swastikas on ruins missing one piece, but I couldn't locate an image.
Perhaps for Nazi history, we should use the German word "Hakenkreuz" to distinguish it from other, much older, symbols.

Awe I hurt your little feels? Got ya right in the they/thems did I?  I had amassed enough already and was wondering when I can push you over. Loved it, it really is a thing of beauty how you have outed yourself.

As I suspected, you're the worst sort of follower. You are what I commonly see as a leech upon society. You leap from leader to leader and try to remain behind their armor of actual intellect. When I fed your diatribes and posts through an AI it flagged you as psychotic and now I believe it is accurate.

You have not clue who I am, hell you almost certainly have guessed my skin color/race (if you subscribe to that) wrong. I'd bet money on it.

A stalker too no less, you tangled with me and when you lost you popped into a thread I started on repairs. Be honest with yourself about why you did that, it would be good for you, but i doubt the psychosis will allow such self reflection.

Someone with half a clue would understand that a "libertarian streak" isn't the same thing as saying a person is libertarian. Do be a good boy and read where I retracted the libertarian statement. And now you'll always remind me of Chester jumping around the feet of Spike.

Editing post: I feel bad for you and I shouldn't have provoked you. Though I did get a perverse sense of being right out of it. I officially apologize for the full psycho-analysis posted above. One too many scotch maybe?  I don't know. But hate is hate and you need to let it go. Coloring me as Trump fan was funny and it did provoke me a bit in my current state. As much an insult as calling me half brained and so on. Let me be the bigger "man" now and just say, I'm sorry.

Scratching my head here (no need for a TLA):
You're doing a victory dance, throwing down the football when ... there's no victory.

You seem to have missed all my disclaimers about not being able to discern much--certainly much less psychoanalyze (or guess the "race" of)--someone posting here.

I haven't even tried to guess your 1) "race" (there's that discredited notion again!), 2) age or any other relevant factor about your person. I'm sure if I did my guesses would probably be wrong anyhow.

Me "the worst sort of follower"? Who, pray tell, do you think I'm following here?
AOC? Wrong!
Bernie? Wellll, sorta but not really.
Chuck Schumer? Adam Schiff? Amy Klobuchar? Fuck no to any of them!

So enough with the fakey-fake contrition and second-guessing on your part. Nearly all of your assumptions here are just plain wrong.

And no, I take no pleasure whatsoever in any of this, in having "outed" you or otherwise claiming any kind of victory.
I do think your thinly-veiled Trump worship is a bit pathetic, but that's about it.

BTW, tiny point: don't know why you're dinging me for stating, pretty much outright, that I have a "libertarian streak".
I never claimed to be a libertarian (and certainly not a Libertarian).
Clue for you: the one website I check first thing, every damn day, is antiwar.com, a site run by libertarians (and Republicans). If you're wondering about my views on geopolitics, you'll find answers there.

I'm not wondering about your views. You've already admitted to be a generalized hater. I suspect that hatred goes very deep. My comments about you being a follower are related to your behavior towards others here that appear to wear your same color shirt.

You know some people can actually think for themselves. See good and bad in things, nuance is everywhere. The world is not black and white as you seem to believe.
You need to do some self reflection my guy. Why is it that you only see black and why? Think about it if you can.

Did you not see I said I was flummoxed of having to be in the position to argue for fair treatment of LEOs? What did you derive from that? That I'm a fan of Trump I see. I've mentioned several negative points about Donald Trump but to you, those are "thinly veiled Trump worship".  I do find it interesting that you used the word "worship" there.  Freudian slip?

Let me settle something for you because I'm sure you've never thought outside your small box, I'm neither fair nor impartial, no one is. Acts may be perceived that way but it is only through thought, reflection, and sometimes modesty and an apology that you might move along to those goals.

It is a great compliment to me that you feel statements I've made are fair and impartial. Maybe you too can do that. Address that desire to stalk too. While I see it as a compliment, I know others can react pretty poorly to it.

Urrrrggghhh tried to create UPS or FEDEX shipping....get all way to payment...both sites cancel and give some differing code which means nothing and the shipping is canceled

I don't think they are shipping to USA......?

Anyone ship from Australia using any of these with this freeking tariff in place?   I'm dying here.

Wow, That's pretty f'd up for sure. What was the company that Australia Post was saying they are working with on a solution?  Zonos?
Do you have a shipping account with either of them?  I setup a personal shipping account where I can provide the shipper my number to have them use my rates.  I don't know if that will make any difference.

You are doing it wrong. UPS/FEDEX/DHL don't like dealing with the general public. You should use Interparcel, Pack & Send, or some other reseller. Australia Post used to offer a courier service (which was just DHL), but they don't do that any more.

Is this a thing just between the US and Australia ?

Because the classic carriers like FedEx and DHL do ship from US to Europe, so I guess also in the other way?
But our national carrier, Bpost, does not send any packages to the US anymore.

Yes ...though i can use them.   Packsend are real dodgy i did look at inter parcel but they use 3rd party and cannot guarantee pickup and if missed you have to re-arrange etc

I'm not commercial user but are fixing more of these PCBs from USA might have to make UPS etc account

In these three instances the police of what I assume is your country are accused of beating suspects in custody. Do you claim that all Belgium police are criminal, have a very bad attitude are are "intrinsically bad persons"?
...

Ah. Whataboutism.

Firstly that's a strawman argument.

Secondly, didn't your mother teach you that "two wrongs don't make a right"? Probably not, since the libertarian philosophy tends to be an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.

No stupid tariff barriers exiting the USA, so that shouldn't have become any more problematic.

If aircraft aren't returning to the USA laden with goodies, does that mean they aren't leaving the USA or are deadheading? Either way would make US exports more expensive.

Not sure about this. I got an email from UPS that they suspended shipments to USA for individuals. If this is the case with UPS I would think that probably it's also the case with Fedex and DHL, let alone the post office.

Not sure about this. I got an email from UPS that they suspended shipments to USA for individuals. If this is the case with UPS I would think that probably it's also the case with Fedex and DHL, let alone the post office.

F*uckin unnecessary mess by some spoiled man baby who thinks he's a super-hero destined to save the planet.

If your customer is a company, can't he create a pickup for the package?
All you need is a sticker/template.

All major carriers have stopped until the issue is resolved by the courts due to the filed cases.

Is this a thing just between the US and Australia ?

I have never sent to USA as an individual, only as a company. But to answer your question, what you suggest is way more expensive than booking from EU to USA.

Oh, I thought you were an individual as you mentioned the courier doesn’t ship from individuals.

So even as a company you cannot send a package with well known couriers to the US?

Edit; it’s your customer who’s an individual, right?

...
In these three instances the police of what I assume is your country are accused of beating suspects in custody. Do you claim that all Belgium police are criminal, have a very bad attitude are are "intrinsically bad persons"?
...

Ah. Whataboutism.
You obviously woke up today and found out you don't know what that is. If you can define it, please show me how its relative.
In quick mission to continue to defend hatred (yes if you don't deny it you are supporting it), you missed that @Sorama expressed a deep sense of hatred towards an entire class of people. I didn't see you call that out. I did, and I asked if that extended to the same class of people in Sorama's home or my assumption of her home.

Firstly that's a strawman argument.

Doubling down on the ignorance isn't going to help. I asked if the class hatred extended to more LEOs and possibly those of Sorama's country. If you don't see how that's related I can't help.

Secondly, didn't your mother teach you that "two wrongs don't make a right"? Probably not, since the libertarian philosophy tends to be an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.

Oh look at you spreading more hatred. Did you find a pretty word to color me with? Shake your fist at those clouds. lol

It’s typical for some people that like to blame others or are blind to reality or don’t see the difference between good and bad behavior to pump up something very specific one (I) said about the bad behavior (and therefore their character) because of the beating of a minority while pretenting to be the police (ice) to a complete exaggeration.

I said something very specific about having no respect for someone beating up other people and now you’re saying I have a deep sense of hatred towards an entire class of people?

Again, you’re so predictable.
