Yeah, havent found a 170 manual yet either.
Im still looking for a reasonably priced 246 for my BWD collection. They would still be quite useful too.

Agreed, and they have been listed for a year or more at that same price... lol
Definitely not a score at that price, but for $100 I would consider that a good deal.
I have even seen the one or other seen up here. First thought they were British. As you say, interesting gear, if the price fits the performance.
I did put it in the TEA thread at the time. 22kg of Heavy Metal.
Today, I bought a Dodo.
Until now, I did not associate YEW with 'outlandish and weird'. If you question this assessment, look at the 'error' display on the analogue auxiliary instrument. I will report more when it has made its way to me and shows any sighn of life. It did cost me 6.- including postage, so I have no expectations at all.

That is a pretty interesting looking multimeter. Worth it for the novel looks alone.
Related to "scores" does anyone remember a thread on easiest equipment "repair"? I remember reading about a piece of equipment that had the cal switch in the wrong position and it was fully functional in the right position. Things like that. Can't seem to find the thread.
This one?
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/repair/what-was-your-easiest-repair-ever/Today yet another ASYC II DMM.
For 35€ posted with protective sleeve and original leads I'd call it a score. (Although it doesn't beat my Fluke 187 grabbed for around 33€ posted.)
The fuses needed replacing and red lead has a soldering iron burn, the screen has a dent and scratch but... Hey! It's been wearing it's protective layer since y2k! That makes the scratch easy to peel although I'm not sure they should be parted after 20 years.
It is one of the weakest point of SMF the Search function
If you are having trouble use the top right pulldown and run a Google site search on your keywords works much better almost always.
Managed to score a couple of viscometers. One with a calibration kit. They are both fully functional and were saved from the trash heap. I have no use for them though, so I'll probably just sell them.

Back when I had a real job I would have brought one from you
Useful bit of kit when you play with Pumps/Pipes and lots of strange substances going through them. Local industrial Pump Sellers or specialty Chemical Companies would be candidates.
Here is what I got recently, and for a very civil price (around 25.- including postage): an immaculate TM500 DOUBLE WIDTH empty module.
There are some left - I'll reconsider my needs and then post the source.

If you want one, I'm willing to consider offers, although I assume the shipping would be rather expensive. I've got a Fann 35A/SR-12 and an Ofite 800. Both B1/R1/F1, both fully functional.
I have been out of the Pump industry for nearly 20 years and have no plans to get back in but thanks anyway
Hi,
while its no test equipment manufaturing equipment is probabely also allowed here.
Got me this Paggen RO250BF convection reflow oven for 100€ plus shipping ... and its in very good condition and works perfectly
It costed 4.500€ in 2008 and is still listed for 4.500€ in 2020.

Calvin
Nice score on the reflow oven.

Good haul !
You wouldn't have an OM for your BWD170 would you ?
Looks like you have well and truly joined Volt Nuttery and found the elusive BWD PS as well
