Whoops. Missed 3 CMU200's, which makes 29 in total. 2 CRTU-RU's as well.
Stack 'm up like a wall and turn them on! It would make for a cool picture. That also gives you the chance to check each unit for the installed options. For your sake I hope they all have the same hardware/software options so you don't have to describe every single one of them.
This begs the question...
"Why does everybody have 20 oscilloscopes?"

So their dozen or two DMMs don't look excessive?

I didn't say any of it looked excessive.
That stuff needs to go some place other than the land fill.

Me and my big mouth. Too bad they put stickers on the screens. What kind of dumb-ass does that?
I hope this turns out to be a good buy & sell for you.
The stickers will come off with some soaking and patience and a little plastic polish.

I was just being facetious.

Absolutely! There's so much good equipment out there.

Nice stack there...but... what's with the one upside down ?! , taking Dave on for the biggest stack of gear !

I don't. I only have about 15 right now. Communications analysers on the other hand though...

Yeah, I know. Not the first time I received stuff like this. But it's such a waste of time...

Heh... I was wondering if someone would notice. The outer shell (sleeve) of the housing apparently can be reassembled upside down. Which means the feet are upside down. In order to be able to stack them, I had to put the unit upside down
Scored some stuff from work for free. The scope was in daily use until it failed some minor annual calibration.
Holy crap! That's pretty damn nice for a freebee!
Self diagnostics PASS! I have no idea why the scope wad dumped.
The stereo microscope also works fine. Just need a stand.
Well they have a low bar for dumping scopes. One co-worker got a scope with failed 50ohm input on one channel.
Just picked up this thing for about (US)$270 delivered:
HP 5343A 26.5 GHz Microwave Frequency CounterComes with GPIB option and the ovenized time base option 001. Hopefully this will arrive in good condition, I'm looking forward to using it as my primary RF debug device. Most seem to sell on ebay for over $500, so I might have even gotten a good deal.

Typical 80s HP broken or missing knob and all.
Nice score, been looking for one myself.

I saw that! I'm looking for a knob replacement as we speak lol. I love the 1980's HP gear. All of my quality test stuff is 80's HP equipment. I dont see a reason to get anything else, it's all in working order and outperforms much new equipment today.
I have it all in my garage which is subject to wild temperature/humidity fluctuations (classic texas weather). At this point, I think I'm going to build an environmentally controlled cabinet or server rack for all of these items. That way I can ensure a stable working environment for my test rigs.
Bought a latest model unused Tek 6015A high voltage probe for 50€

*cough*, would a 5351A do?

What a nice score, they usually have one more zero in the price
Where did you find it for such a low cost?

Great deal, I love LED displays, 5343 broke, I nearly went insane until I found a guy (on ebay - also a Ham) selling the extender cards, the daughter boards are packed in tightly in a cast alloy frame. Was just a broken 7 series logic node.
Yep, local buy from someone I know that gets stuff from closed companies and labs. I also sourced last year a couple of HP 3245A. I believe he gets most stuff for free so it’s all win for them
Is a HP 8664A any good? I could get one for free. Also a faulty R&S 857.8008.02 power meter is available.
And for future reference, in general I think most here would agree with me - if it's a piece of old HP gear, and the offer price is 'free', the answer is yes.

It is huge and heavy. I'll get it and see if I can sell it or swap for other more needed gear.
