I just have a problem I am prepared to acknowledge
Those little Tek scopes are cute too
Tek 321A is the first “cute” scope I would like to get my hands on.
Tek 321A is the first “cute” scope I would like to get my hands on.
My "cute" candidate would be the 310A mini anchor.
Yes those are pretty nice too. One of each?
My "portable" mini Tek 323. Still 'works a treat' but I do need to replace the battery bank
323 from 1967
I think there are 5pcs. of C size inside, NiCd. KR14, 3Ah
Martin
That 323 needs the matching 1401. And so it snowballs
I'd love to have one of them myself, it'd sit very in my stack on my bench, hell its smaller than my bench meters and smaller in terms of space taken up on the bench than my TDS210 which is not stackable.
This is also quite small but doesn’t run on battery, needs AC power. About size of Keithley 2015 multimeter. In pristine condition but came with only one probe, special right angle SS-0011L.
I wish man. I had a nice HP4274A a while back and sold it, I am always* kicking myself for that stupid mistake. I would love to get a 4275A though..but if I am able to turn this lot into a badass "modern" CAL LAB, that would be pretty sick.
The 4275A is really old (introduced in 1979?) and it's barely more accurate than the PM6303a (0.1 vs 0.25%). I don't think you would see much difference. The PM6303a only lack the capacity of testing with other frequency than 1Khz.
@Oculus:
The ground leads I found have a thread outer diameter of approximately 3.35mm.
They are definitely from vintage Tek probes and were intended to connect with the tread to threaded crocodile clips. The other side is a spring clip which did go around the probe body.
But there is one with two threads, so I guess they are the same.
I could spare two of them, which you could adapt by fitting a croc or a 0.64mm for the mini-grabbers used now.
Send PM with adress/answer.
Would you be able and willing to supply me with (any of) the following:
2pc. screws 6-32 lenght 1inch pan-head (pozidrive, but I do not think, that matters) (HP2360-0209 equivalent)
Nut, Plain, Hex: 0.312"-32 x 0.438", BRS, (3pc.)
Washer, Flat: 0.312" ID x 0.469" OD x 0.031 (3pc.)
Washer, Lock: 0.32" intl, 0.015" thk, STL (3pc.)
unpacking HP 8556A
Unpacking HP 19511-80014...

Oh, I kill me...
Part number humor. I like it.
That part is entirely real, and is located under my kitchen. In HP it was fondly known as "the pit prop".
More colloquially within HP "Big Data", it is known as the "HP Stick of Wisdom". To be applied liberally (but gently) to the skulls of your clients who need to migrate from data processing architectures and software environs that haven't been supported in the last decade.
It was this "primary" purpose to which I originally referred.

*Off to Pokemon League with my son*
They are adorable! I'm organizing my lab space today. Found some rather expensive Pomona BNC coax that I thought I had lost.
Just spent an hour carefully extracting and testing that last CRT from the remaining D83 and packing it. Going to drop it off tomorrow. Hopefully I will receive a picture of a working Tek 7603 in exchange for it!
D83s are basically scrap now so I am lifting valuable parts and materials and disposing of the rest. Likelihood of getting another CRT is very low, one is completely trashed and the remaining one has multiple levels of unhealthy. At least some good came from this exercise. Spoke to my mother who suggested they belonged in the trash

Bit sad, oh well.
Would you be tempted if another came along ?
I'm catching Poke'mon with my son. Does that count?
mnem
Oh, Hell no!
Depends maybe, in the eyes of the other parties, on whether you caught one with stripes or one that can call out R, C, and L precisely.
If that would still work along the Pokemon principles, Inverted16850 is probably going to exercise it to the limits hoping it evolves in a upmarket Wayne-Kerr or Tegam.

I was holding a nice 332 unit for another user, but they bailed so I will be posting another nice 332D with stats and pics on the sale thread shortly. Its a nice unit, like I said I was holding it for someone here who bailed, so if you want one, let me know.
You meant me? A 332D Fluke DC calibrator? No thanks. While I am pondering such a nice little trnsfer standard, any full-size calibrator that I bring in here would be a multimeter all-function calibrator, if I could afford one.
No mate, I was just letting the community know I have a good one that I can sell "cheap" to the TEA crew. Another user bailed on me, but I was holding it and its still here.
@SpecMaster: I think we found something that I can send your way!
I was able to score a Keithley 4140B pA Meter today. Up to 100VDC with arbitrary wave form generation functionality.
