There's an HP 6207B on ebay for a reasonable amount of cash. 0-160V 200mA. Considering it but can't think of a use for it. If anyone can come up with any let me know
Edit: so far:
1. Very low voltage HT supply for tubes
2. Avalanche pulse generator driver
3. Wire it to the letterbox and electrocute the junk mailers.
4. Admire the small, fanless form factor and gold binding posts.
5. If you have any other 6000-series from that era, it'll expand your range. At least until you get a 6209B.
4. Unfortunately it's got the new plastic ones
5. Got three already so it'll fit right in
Sold. I will bid on it. Damn thing has a starting bid on it now.
6209B would be nice. That and my 6284A has got enough juice to run a nice valve transmitter
4. Unfortunately it's got the new plastic ones
Oh, bummer. So, do only the original Harrison-branded power supplies use gold?
I think it went on slightly longer than that as my 6286A has gold ones and that is circa 1977. I reckon around 1978-82 they swapped over. My 6236B has plastic ones
Might also differ depending on where they were manufactured as well.
Edit: random electronic antique acquisition this week. 1940 WT 8 amp key:
Still works like new. Better than the Kent one made in 1985 I have.

Ah, OK. My 6200B is too new with gray binding posts.

Very cool. Looks like it'd last many lifetimes.
My TEA time is at a low ebb due to life getting in the way. Squeezed in a little CAD and 3DP to make a TEA adapter. The rear filters on this little commercial roaster are OTT on price so time to look at designing and making replacement inners to sell and maybe make a $. Airflow restriction needs to be similar to the real deal as it clogs with detritus over 30-50 roasts.
Easy transition to design when you know how and have the initial adapter on file. Another non bodge
Nice work. I haven't fired my 3D printer up lately because it generates too much heat inside for these 100 deg. days but come Fall I plan on doing some projects.
That's pretty cool bean. Makes me feel like getting a 3D printer. But if I wait a little bit, the feeling might go away again. Not quite ready, yet.

Welcome home, bean.
Kept a seat by the taco warmer for ya.
What's this about "needing a certain amount of restriction"? Sounds like hooey to me; seems to me there's plenty of restriction in that pattern of slotted holes in the bulkhead to create a specific amount of airflow; I'm certain that is their express purpose. If not, you could print up an adjustable gate to go over the slots. No reason in the world you can't then make an airbox to fit a $6 CA9054 air filter for an F-150 in there. IIRC, those are approx 8" x 10" x 1" pleats. Oh, excuse me... approx 205mm x 255mm x 25mm pleats.

Fuck... I still need to pack up my Tevo Tornado...

Did you snatch this up? The only 2 I can find are both state side?

It’s not listed by model name. Try “hewlett packard” in test and measurement category. Feel free to go for it so I don’t

Oh I see, don't think I want it really, I don't do much with valves these days, made the transition years ago. I was only thinking of a 100v supply meter testing, but I have pretty good means of near enough calibration upto 100v with my heathkit oscilloscope calibrator which gives me 1mV, 10mV, 100mV, 1V, 10V and 100V outputs which accurate when compared to my meter calibrators. So with that in mind, your still in the danger zone, go on buy it, you know you want it, buy it,.... Buy it [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

It's confirmed.... my hate list has earned new intensity.
Been looking at the ADSM301 and started thinking about a particular application where a larger focus range would be advantageous ... and because someone
just happened to mention the ADSM302 - I found it is a better fit.
I just can't thank you all enough
... but my bank account is cringing.
jep. I watched this video and decided, that the 302 fits better to my needs.
I activated the english subtitles and watched it with my loudspeakers muted.
I just purchased a MSOX3104T, and now some toys needs to go. Before I post it in the Buy/Sell section here only for the TEA guys.
1) Let's start with this
DSO6104L I think 1,6K€ for that scope is still a good price.
2) My workhorse Agilent MSOX 3054A with Bundle App needs to go, purchased on 2013. Like new. Included papers and
4 x N2843 500MHz passive probes
1 x N2756A 16 channel MSO cable
will be the ones from the MSOX3104T, so I will not even touch them.
Price? Is 5K€ too much? I have no idea.
One of the things that's gotten me really down into the rabbit hole is the -- hp -- 428B DC clamp meter. Finally, I found one. With probe. Shipping, of course, was not only a dog but an entire kennel.
But, this is priceless:
This is the only fault found so far:
Now for building that box for the Philips Variac I've been meaning to include in the workshop setup for some years..
