Sadly, I don't think YT has a voice option for reporting channels. If nobody does anything, he could get mobs to start attacking 5G towers, destroying them and possibly leave some people without any phone coverage which could result in a life and death situation?
It doesn't, unless you know a Googler, and the only one I know quit last month.
Oh nothing regrettable. Just a metaphorical PEEK and a POKE in the right places...
Peek through a Predator UAV and Poke a Hellfire through his chimney ?
Nah much more insidious. I'm trying to get his credit file zero rated. Reference agencies take evidence for craziness and reckless behaviour. Use the gears of the machine rather than smash them.
That's quite an impressive bit of luck!
Even better was the name of the sculpture!

If that isn't the subject of a BOFH column,it should be.
So this little beauty turnd up in the post today (7805 for scale)
A DC-DC converter
But look at the specification 9-60V in 0-60V out at 20 Amps. 1200W in a 1/4 brick.
Plan is to put it in a box with a lower current mains PSU and a couple 12v SLAs or Lithiums and a DC input to give a high current bench/portable supply. It even has the variable current limit option.

Oh as sysadmins go I am the guy the BOFH bows before. I once chowned someone's home directory to their colleague because they were better at his job.
Edit: to clarify on the credit file thing, the approach isn't as glorious as it sounds. He'll be well aware of the issues associating with certain business fronts thus his cronies and family we discovered last time. All you have to do is make sure the associative dots are researched (the PEEK) and reported (the POKE) and then the system does what is intended i.e. stops him and his cronies receiving any further funding. When a retrospective association appears that was not registered in a credit file initially then it can knacker the person's rating for 1-2 years as they are potentially high risk.
you could also try to cancel his credit / banking cards ...
Trying to recover a win2000 password. Not having a good time. All of the magic USB recovery tools don't even boot.

That's pretty difficult here. I'm having trouble cancelling mine at the moment.

need to look in my old tools... have some sort of locksmith cd .. maybe can make it an ISO for you..and you boot it from usb-cd
ps. i you boot from usb-stick...for windows you need to make it bootable...not just copy as you can in unix.
let me know
would a Win2k iso help ? I would need to find one, but ...
Needs a lick of blue paint, but who am I telling!?! Preaching to the converted!

Looks like he already got a bit too close:

Quite honestly I'm undecided on paint color. If I give it the fresh Tek blue it's going to make the scope look dull because that's original and doesn't need a re-paint. I may go with grey.

Nope, that's the fan filter.
Appreciate the help offers. Tried about a dozen tools, all (most) are supposed to make the USB drive bootable. The machine makes an attempt but in 9/10 cases I end up with a black screen and a blinking prompt. One attempt got me as far as notification there was a file problem.
Next up: make an actual UBCD with one of those shiny round things. I must have a box somewhere. I'll get there in the end.
Since it was built of sheet steel rather than aluminum the years have not been kind to it. But it's all there and I'm going to completely restore it. Should be fun.
Ahh “original heathkit brown” ie rust

Making a bootable USB stick is one of the easiest tasks under Linux.
- download grml image
- plug in the USB stick
- check the syslog, which /dev/sd... the USB stick is (something like /dev/sdc /dev/sdd)
- as user root: dd if=<image_file_name.img> of=/dev/sd... bs=512 <ENTER>
- wait for finishing
- boot grml from USB stick
This procedure works as well for a bootable windows image. This can be created easily as well:
- pick up a bootable windows CD/DVD
- insert the disc in a drive (assuming this is /dev/sde)
- under root do the following: dd if=/dev/sde of=windows_boot_image.img
- wait, until it's finished
- create a USB stick with the steps mentioned above
Learning how to Linux has been on my "to do" list since 2003. You know, one day...

That piece of gear has a rats nest in it. Like - literally a rat's nest.

One of my lodgers completely owned a VAX/VMS, and the sysadmins couldn't figure out how. If they had asked them, he would have told them. (Being the first person to touch the computer was the key point
)
