Nice pictures
Apparently the power supply is a dick on them so good luck.In the meantime....how about some Tek 485 porn?
Is that the delay line rolled around the CRT?
That's the turbo encabulator that gets it up to 350 megs
The Fluke 1912A that I bought Tuesday afternoon was in Reno, Nevada. Last night it arrived at Newark Airport and it's already at local USPS Distribution Center. I just might get it today or definitely tomorrow. The scheduled delivery date wasn't until this coming Wednesday.
I'm liking this!

tea is a self diagnosed disease.
(good thing we don't have it.)
bama has a partial of the fluke 7261a manual.
they are very similar.
gotta' go take asta for her 2mile walk before it gets too hot outside.
Fedex has the package with the HP 1660A that I ordered listed as "Out for Delivery", so definitely getting it today! Yay! Well, except for the fact that I'll be at work when it comes, and it was probably sent "signature required" which means it will probably wind up in the rental office at my apartment complex. I may not get my hands on it until tomorrow morning... Boo.

Well some times its better that way. Canada post has the tendency of leaving everything on my porch. Even a 60Lbs signal generator in the middle of winter.

well done med, they look nice, I love the paint job, really freshens it up no end
Agreed. Not sure why, but it definitely looks better on this unit than that HeathKit. No, seriously. Maybe it's just the idea of a HeathKit being shiny...? that strikes me wrong...

What is that Fluke in the middle of thismess, err, genius arrangement?
More porn. Finally got the Fluke 7260A apart. I was on the right track before. I just needed to pry harder.
And an interesting discovery. On the underside of the top cover is the Inverter board for the battery. It has been disconnected from the main board and in fact there are cut wires. I don't care because I have no intention of using on battery anyway. But obviously someone has been in here. And just to make sure there are no issues I checked the counter with the top cover off and it works fine.
Looked it over pretty good....especially the power supply caps. No bulging or leaking. For now going to leave them alone.
The Fluke 1912A has arrived. It works but there is an issue. The case was broken in shipment. Which is very surprising because IMHO it was packed extremely well. The monkeys at USPS must have dropped kicked the box to do that kind of damage. Luckily I have all the pieces so it can be either super glued or epoxied back together.
